Blooming.nl by Peter and Femmie van der Sluis, The Netherlands was the responsible florist to create the arrangements, the creative concept and the art direction during the shoot. The photoshoot was done at the studio of Peter and Femmie and you will see how I turned their studio into a photo studio at the time. The pictures asked for the calendar should be on a dark backdrop. Especially the one were Femmie added gold petals by throwing them above the set to let them stand out to the backdrop.
Marketing
Calendars are great for marketing; people keep them all year and every day your work and your logo are seen.
Maybe an anniversary calendar is even better while this one will be kept for many more years. In these modern years you don’t have to order lots of them to get a good price; it’s possible to order a small amount on demand, so it is even possible for those with a small budget.
Flowers
Flowers are loved all over the world and pictures of them are appreciated by many. Remember as a floral designer you work with the most beautiful material you can find in nature. And the pictures you make of your outstanding arrangements are also suitable for a nice calendar.
Working with Peter and Femmie is always inspiring and the cooperation is very easy going. Besides their professionalism they’re great people, warm and caring. Along the intensive hours of hard work we always have lots of fun.
