Valentine’s Day

Valentine day is one of the highlights in a floral year.

Almost everybody knows what Valentine’s day means and most of the people think of a person they love or secretly love and send Valentine cards or, even better, a colorful bouquet of nice flowers.

Roses are the first in mind, but there are many other flowers that can do the job, especially when they are red or reddish 🙂

What do you think about a nice bunch of red anthuriums, red tulips or red gerbera daisy flowers?

Or a combination of those?

Flowers are emotion and flowers tell your love story the best; flowers are love itself!

Be inspired to make something special and beautiful for Valentine’s Day; look on the internet for inspiration and fine examples of high standard floral arrangements.

I’ve collected some from my own archives; arrangements I’ve photographed for Dutch Floral Magazine “De Pook”. This magazine is highly recommended by the best floral artist’s in the Netherlands and abroad and features artist’s like Max van de Sluis, Hanneke Frankema, Per Benjamin, Pim van den Akker and many others.

The examples shown in this blog are created by Hanneke Frankema and Judith Spanjaard.
